Facila was created in 2007 as a division of Monitores de Gestão Lda, a training and consultancy company established in Portugal in 1997.

The founder of Monitores de Gestão, the Swedish Engineer Johan Frisk who had worked with productivity in portuguese industry realized that the industry’s profitability problem was directly associated to the low educational level.

Plans for an educational project that took advantage of the experience gained from  in his native country of Sweden, during it’s national program “Kunskapslyftet”, that lifted one million swedes one educational level during the final years of the nineties and early years of the new millennium, was born.

Facila through it’s connection to Monitores de Gestão lda has had an agreement with the largest state owned training company in Sweden, Lernia AB, which contributed to the project with it’s rich Know-How.

We are co-operating to create a transfer of competence between the swedish and the portuguese states as suppliers of basic training to the Swedish Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and it’s member companies.

The facila pedagogy is based on contemporary research in the Adult Learning field.
We know that adults learn slightly different from children, therefore in order for true learning to happen, their needs must be met.
